Ork Wolves

Well here it is, the first finished test model for the new army I will be working on in the new year.

This is a counts as Space Wolf that will be an elite Ork army. This is a Long Fang with a Missile Launcher. Or in this army...a Long Toof with a Rokkit Launcha.

  1. I'd love to be there to see some of your opponent's heads explode when faced with BS4 Armor 3+ "Orks".

  4. I saw this and am completely going to copy you. I'm sorry. I love ork models and I love space wolves codex. So I'm going to swing some space orky-wolves cavalry army. I don't know much about fantasy bits, so how do you like the black orcs box? Is it as quality as the orks in the 40k setting?

  5. @Matt - The Black Orks are hard to work with for making conversions. There are only about 6 out of the 10 that are easy to use. But they are almost one piece models. Only parts not on them is arms and head. There are 4 Orks in the box who has arms raised up over thier heads in 2-handed motions, they will be harder to use. But the Standard Bearer parts will make great Wolf Standard Grey Hunters.

  7. Sorry for the multiple comments, but are the black Orc models metal?

  8. No worries. Happily they are plastic models which will help a lot in the conversions. However they are pretty thick plastic. If you plan on cutting one in half lets say I would suggest using something like the GW hobby saw they sell. I wouldn't try to cut one using a traditional hobby knife.
